It's that time of year again! I'm very much an online shopper when it comes to Black Friday—why leave the house when you can do all of your shopping from your cozy home? I know others who love the buzz of being out in the crowds but I'm quite happy browsing the sales from my sofa with a cup of tea!
I get a lot of questions over on Instagram about where this piece or that piece is from. It's on my list to put together a "shop my home" section, but for now I thought I'd hunt around and see if I can find you a deal on some of my home favorites!
But before I give your a whistle-stop tour of our home, here's a list of go-to retailers that I like to check out this time of year:
In past years I've managed to get some amazing steals at this time of year, including our living room media cabinet. Online you can save up to 50% on furniture and 30% on decor & rugs!
West Elm is a favorite of mine for high quality furniture pieces, rugs and decor. They are running a "buy more save more" deal (15% off $150; 20% off $500; 25% off $1000; and 30% off of $3500, with code SAVEMORE) plus extra discounts on selected items.
Serena & Lily's Thank You Event runs through December 3rd, offering 25% off almost everything with the promo code "THANKFUL".
I was so honored to partner with them for my playroom makeover, and with the promo code, you can get a whopping $124.50 discount on the rattan hanging chair I used! This is their best sale of the year so I highly recommend checking it out.
Overstock is always the first place I check for jute rugs—like the one we have in our living room. Large rugs are usually expensive so it's a good time to purchase if you have one on your shopping list!
Sale discounts vary from shop to shop, but Etsy is a great place to look to find one-of-a-kind pieces. I've bought everything from pillows to light fixtures from Etsy, and it's a great way to support small business owners.
World Market are offering 40% off all furniture which is a pretty great deal. I particularly love their Christmas Shop—it's full of whimsy and nostalgia. You might see a few pieces popping up in my home next week when I decorate for Christmas!

Finally...what's on my shopping list this year?
Since we've spent so much time simplifying our home I want to make sure any purchases we make are intentional rather than impulsive. These are the items that I've been pondering for a while, and I may just splurge on one or two:
I'll let you know on Instagram what I end up purchasing! Have you found any good bargains so far? Let me know!
